Our Leadership
Marty Halpern, President and Founder
Marty is a native Atlantan, real estate developer and entrepreneur. He was inspired to create and fund One Good Deed when recognizing a need in the community and wanting to find a way to contribute. He provides the strategy and vision for the organization.
Sharon Spiegelman, Executive Director
Sharon oversees the day to day operations of One Good Deed. She works on a daily basis to coordinate volunteers with care recipients in addition to speaking to community groups about One Good Deed services. She works with NORC (Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities) leadership to accomplish their mutual goals of helping older adults remain in their homes. Her affinity for these adults and people with disabilities gives her a unique perspective with which to pursue the goals of One Good Deed.
